Compatible Padlocks
View compatible padlocks that fit the Latch Lock ammo can security device to properly secure US Military surplus metal ammo cans and boxes.
The Latch Lock requires a compatible keyed padlock or combination lock that is NOT included (sold separately). In order to fit the Latch Lock and secure your ammo can correctly, the lock should have a shackle diameter of 3/16" (5mm). Locks with shackle diameters larger than 3/16" (5mm) will not fit. Locks with shackle diameters smaller than 3/16" (5mm) may fit but will compromise the effectiveness of your Latch Lock.
We recommend the Master Lock 131 model padlock. It is available for purchase from us directly and can be easily bundled with your Latch Lock order.
